Chance dropped the gun he had been holding. It was out of bullets from his A+ shooting at the tank. Frankly, he was surprised he hadn't hit anyone in his team on accident. The tank was dead, but he could hear more of the infected coming down the hallway. Well, fuck. "Let's keep moving," he said quickly, picking up his gun, reloading from the ammo he had with him. He felt bad for the members of the team who were frightened or overwhelmed- hell, he was terrified- but he figured the longer they stood still, the closer the infected got.

Kassie looked up at Chance and nodded. Then she followed him into the hallway.
"I'm Kassandra by the way." She knew that now wasn't the best time for introductions, but during a zombie appoclyps when do you really get a chance?

Janett struggled to stay alert. Her head was bleeding and her vision was a bit blurry. Still, she moved on. She ran down the hallway away from the hoard, and every chance she got she turned around and shot some of the infected down.
"Everyone, just keep going, there has to be a way out of this hallway somewhere!"
The group moved on, but an exit wasn't in sight. Janett looked everywhere she could think of. When they reached the end of the hall, the door to the next hall was blocked by piles of rubble from the floor that had fallen out above them.
"We have to climb up. There's no other way! There may be stairwell access from that floor also."
Everyone looked doubtful, but Janett began to climb up the rubble despite their and her own lack of hope.

"I think you should fix that before anything..." Aubrey sighed apathetically looking at Janett's bleeding head. He shook his own head lightly looking around. "So um... anyone have anything that can be of some use...?" he moaned not seeing anything he was looking for.
Instead of trying to help Janett, he figured it might be a little better to just forget about everything and stand there twirling his pistols randomly looking in every direction looking for something if anything to shoot at. After all, it was getting kind of boring. All this time he'd been following behind this small group of survivors, Incidentally they took care of all the hordes and inconveniences for him, thus he didn't exactly have to fight anything.
"Oh... by the way I'm looking for two people..." He began taking a breath. "Uhm, Have you seen a girl named Benjamine and a purple haired douche named Jamie anywhere? It's kind of important that I find them soon.." he sighed.

"Je n'aime pas cette! Je n'aime pas cette!" Benjamine shouted, falling behind from a tackling zombie that managed to hop out of the shadows. She shot him easily enough, but getting the zombie OFF of her was another matter. It wouldn't matter too much if the Horde wasn't just down the hallway..
"G.. Guh!" she said, finally moving the zombie off of her, scrambling to her feet, and running back toward the crowd. That was when she found out the only was out was up and around with the pile of rubble. They might have tried to move it if they had time, but time during an apocolypse is like E equaling mc^3. It didn't happen, but you made the most of what you were given. But at the stairway was a very familiar face.
"Monsieur Aubrey!" she shouted, jumping at him and giving him a hug while Kirill jumped out onto his head. There wasn't a whole lot of time to say hello though, but instead remembered that there was a HORDE behind them and the best Jamie has come up with was a guitar case because she stole he other gun back.
Luckily, Jamie was nearby and so she tossed her second gun at him, since he still had the ammo. "Zat, ermm.. zhould etre.. uh, bettur zen ze case, oui, oui, Monsieur Jamie?"

"Whoa what the fuck man." Jami hissed falling from where ever the hell he was, using Janett as his personal stopper punching her in the face then accidentally jamming her head into the wall as he tried to catch himself from falling on the floor. It was pretty fucking gross after all, with all the zombie parts, guts, skin, blood, HEY look an eye ~delicious~.
"Whoops... My bad." He sighed laughing nervously seeing her body fall limply to the ground.
"HEY! Look it's Aubrey!" he yelled at the top of his lungs swinging his arms around his bother. "And what the fuck is this shit, Look it's Ben, Wassup?" Jamie smiled waving his hand.

"Monsieur Jamie," Ben stated. "Je already zaid bonjour to tu. Now et iz Monsieur Aubrey's turn, oui?" Ben stuck her tongue out, just to be playful, but she ended up giving Jamie a hug anyway. They had a few moments before they needed to run again.
Benjamine went over to Janett, checking her pulse and waving her hand in front of her eyes. "Monsieur Jamie.." she frowned. "Je zink tu it sa a petite harshly." Janett seemed to be passed out and unreactive to anything. That was bad. Very bad. It would mean they'd have to carry her and that would slow them down significantly. Ben, for one, couldn't volunteer to carry her. She wasn't strong enough.
"Alors," she finally said. "Qui veux to carry sa, mes amis?"

"I guess Jamie would be more then happy to carry her, seeing as how he's the one who knocked her out to begin with..." Aubrey smiled glancing at his brother. He was surprised no one said anything about his recently changed appearance. Last time he saw Ben he had ash blond hair and two working eyes, now he looked like a monster. He stood there pondering things to say, he didn't know really it's been so long since he'd seen anyone he actually knew, it felt kind of awkward.
As he stood, he began to hear noises of things moving closer and closer to them. "Ugh... guys.." he sighed pulling out his pistol pointing it down the hallway. "Better hurry it up." he sighed hearing them getting closer and closer. One sound in particular standing out more then the other drowning screams of the infected.

Bn nodded and started up the stairs. Not a whole lot of time to talk now, not to mention how his red hair looked on him, how she wanted to know why he had a patch on now, not to talk about the time lost in the past. Right now, it was the time for running, escaping living.
She armed the pistol at the ready and began to running up the short, but almost death defying stairs. They could prove to be the way of life, or the way of being eaten by a damn zombie. Ben hoped that it would prove to be the way of life, but she knew that that was a false hope once she tripped.
One of her laces had gotten loose and Benjamine ended up stepping on it , tripping and losing her grip on her pistol as it went flying and she went tumbling down the stairs. This was not good, as in spoiled peanut butter not good or flat soda not good. You didn't want it at all kind of not good.
"Kyaaa~!!" Ben screamed and she tumbled down the small flight, gathering a few bruises along the way. The pistol slid down the hallway to the area where the Horde suddenly appeared. "Zut!" she yelled. "Mon pistol!" This meant that the only defense left at Ben's side where her legs, which weren't really at her sides, but whatever.
She had to wonder if it was worth getting the pistol, but she had to get back up the stairs. If she remembered the layout, the greenhouse was nearby, and there might be something there. And so, without delay, Ben started back up the stairs.

Unfortunately, Mina had not been very athletic, so running for her life, lugging around a sword didn't help too much. She could only run fast for a couple seconds, using most of her energy; that wasn't working out too well. Obviously, this is a huge problem.
Mina started slowing down, out of breath, stomach hurting. A zombie was on her tail at this time. At the worst time, she trips on nothing. Probably from the fear and anxiety, she lost her footing. Her sword flies out of her hand. "DAMMIT!"
Mina is already being left behind. What else could get better? She quickly tried to get up, but she got wounded from the fall, and scraped her left hand and knees. "Like damn, today is just not my day. Why did I even get mixed up in this? I should just give up, and let myself get infected. Not like there's any hope for me escaping at this point in the game." The zombie is now peering at her back, ready to attack Mina.

Benjamine heard something and turned her head, briefly, noticing one of the members had fallen down and dropped her weapon. She only stood out in Ben's mind because she carried a sword and not a gun, which was an odd choice, but it seemed to work for her nonetheless. Unfortunately, it only worked it she was good and active with it, and right now, she was down on the ground looking at death.
She just had to get up the stairs that Ben had gone up. Twice. Might as well make a third trip. Ben wasn't about to leave someone behind, especially if she could save them. With a notice to Aubrey and Jamie to not wait up for her and to catch up to the group, Ben jumped the flight of stairs and slid, catching her grip.
In perfect position, she ran forward toward the girl, who she remembered as Mina or something like so, grabbing the sword on the way and going the zombie a nice, big head shot. Handing the sword to the girl, she helped her up.
"'Urry!" Ben said to her. "Je vill keep zem off of tu, mais tu need to courir! Erm, run!"
Ben began to run backward, shooting the zombies that were approaching them, all the while thinking it might have been a good idea to bring Aubrey and Jamie along..

"Wow, I didn't think I would make it. Thanks for your help, um... er... I believe you're Benjamine?"
Hope had sparked some hope in her eyes when Benjamine came back for her. "Well, maybe everything wasn't so useless." she said, smiling at Benjamine. "I guess I shouldn't just give up. If I give up, I'll never know what happens next." Mina thought to herself.
This burst of realism was surely surprising, even to Mina herself. Maybe, just maybe, she was getting a little stronger. "Maybe seeing the skies and the ocean isn't just a pipe dream," Mina thought.
"This isn't the time to be having realizations."
Mina turned around, running backward with Benjamine to help out. She swung the sword at the zombie's feet, immobilizing it. "Lucky shot. That was my first time with a sword; in fact, any weapon."

Becca's head was spinning from the constant, frantic pace of it all. Not only did they need to find a way out, but to make matters even worse than they were, people were being injured and more zombies were on the way. Obviously, every small victory meant that one or two more wrenches must be thrown into the fray. At least each newcomer right now seemed to be a friend of others in the group. Frightening, maybe, but still, it had to count for something.
However, now was not the time to be worrying about how scary the new survivors were when scary zombies were on the way and others were lying wounded. At least she could at least try to help with one of those wrenches, and after a quick balancing act, she was able to fish out the rudimentary medical kit from her bag. "Here--we can use this for her," she said, hurrying over to Janett and searching for the necessary items to treat the unlucky woman's injuries.
Becca thought they had enough for now, but unfortunately, the kit was neither large nor advanced, so with any luck (of which they clearly had an abundance of) nobody else would need much dressing until they found a way to restock. She gripped at her skirt, noticing the cotton's own almost gauze-like feel. If she ran out before hand, at least the otherwise impractical piece of clothing could be useful as make-shift bandages. Hopefully this fact wouldn't use up what good fortune the group had left.
Moving as quickly as she could, she pulled out a small tube of cream and a roll of gauze, and racked her brain for any details of first aid she could think of. "We have to keep going," she said, more to herself than anyone, as she attempted to patch up her 'teammate,' as it were.
These were much worse than any scraped knee or nicked finger she had dealt with back home, and there was blood all over and this school, this city, everything was so dirty and--she had to stay focused, there was work to do. "Janett? Are you awake? I'm sorry I'm not very good at this, but I think this is gonna hold. W-we're gonna keep moving, there's more--" saying the word made it all the more real each time "more zombies coming." Honestly, the girl had no idea why she was talking, or even what exactly she was saying, but you talked to kids to calm them when they were hurt, though if her babbling was to ease the mind of the semi/unconsious Janett or herself was anyone's guess.

Kassie was at the top of the stairs shooting the zombies around Ben as she went back for Mina, when Kassie heard what sounded like someone coughing behind her. She turned around and saw a strange zombie she had never seen. Before she knew it, there was a rotting tongue wrapped around her waist pulling towards the special infected.
"Heeelp!" Kassie desperately screamed.

Jason was sitting down on his checkered blanket, his picnic basket near hand, while happily munching on a PB&J sandwich. ◕ ◡ ◕ Where did the picnic supplies come from?! NO ONE KNOWS, THAT'S WHERE. NO QUESTIONS.
But upon hearing Kassie's cry for help, Jason put down his beloved sandwich and jumped in to action. He leaped up the stairs to where Kassie was at like a fucking antelope or whatever, adding in his own sound effects during the sprint. Moments later he found the brunette being constructed by the Infected.
This Infected was defiantly stranger than those they have encountered before. He looked different; he was taller and his face was bulgy and really fucking messed up. And, not to mention, he was using his tongue as a weapon. What the shit.
"I got this!" He yelled, reaching for his shotgun. He pulled the gun out began to aim with it. Then he realized GOD DAMMIT IT MIGHT MORPHED ITSELF BACK DOWN TO A WATER GUN. While a watergun was obviously the ideal choice of weapon to any manly man, it wouldn't help Jason out in this particular situation.
"... WELL SHIT"
